You are what you eat!

Simply changing or improving eating habits is related to better weight management and improved general health.

Weight Management can be related to weight loss or weight gain.  Energy balance is the the primary issue in weight management which simply put is the energy consumed (eating and drinking) minus the energy we expend (daily activities and/or planned exercise).

iNform’s approach is to develop an eating regime that is realistic, individual to you and sustainable over the long term rather than giving you a “diet” that can only be sustained for a very short period.

The way we do this is to get an understanding of your current eating behaviours including:

  • Current calorie intake
  • Breakdown of macronutrients (how much of your calories come from protein, carbohydrate, fat, alcohol)
  • Whether you are meeting the recommended daily intake for your vitamins and minerals

We use this information about your existing way of eating to find a solution for such issues as:

  • Weight loss
  • Increased muscle
  • Improved health
  • Improved athletic performance
